As Assistant Creative Director for Bright Orange Thread, Ed Abbott specializes in web design, production, and programming. Ed's talents as a designer and web developer (a hard-to-find combination) have served the team and our clients well.

Ed graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Visual Communications program in 1999. He began his career as a designer and programmer for Orbit Integrated.

In 2003, Ed became the in-house marketing and design manager for TheaterXtreme. Starting with simple logo and website design, his roles within TheaterXtreme grew due to his unique knowledge of the AV and home theater industry. TheaterXtreme went from one retail store with three employees to a public company and national franchise chain with 15 stores. Ed was an integral part of the processes, challenges, and experiences that came with that.

Ed's ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, as well as his ability to deliver quality design and code, have allowed Bright Orange Thread to meet a growing demand for its services. Recent projects include web design for BroadPoint Technologies and the University of Delaware's Department of Psychology.
