Long Story Short

  • Challenge: Create a resource for clinician-scientists working in the aging research field.
  • Our Solution: Rapidly launch a site by strategically using the Craft content builder.

Challenge

Create a Resource for Clinician-Scientists Working in the Aging Research Field

The science of aging research is ever-evolving. Its continual advancement depends upon the combined efforts of clinician-scientists.

The American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) came to us to build a website for their new Clin-STAR Coordinating Center.

Clin-STAR seeks to advance transdisciplinary research, training, and development in aging. The site would serve as the hub for clinician-scientists working at research institutes nationwide.

Clint-STAR receives funding from the National Institute on Aging (NIA). It was imperative that its website was worthy of its high profile partners and lofty ambition.

Our Solution

Working Smart by Strategically Using Craft’s Content Builder

To get this high profile project launched swiftly, we knew we would need a content management system (CMS) that could handle our needs.

The Craft CMS empowers the creation of visually rich pages without the need for HTML or development experience. This allows editors to have an intuitive publishing experience that is highly flexible. The Clin-STAR team is able to create a variety of page designs while still being able to stay on brand.

Launched a Full Month Ahead of Schedule

Put simply, we worked fast. AFAR worked closely with BOT to customize the site to Clin-STAR’s vision. The end result is a robust, well-designed site that helps Clin-STAR stand out as a power-player in the field.
