Site Launch: Meeting Ground

Redesign creates new online home for organization

Check out our new design for Meeting Ground, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of homeless people and alleviating homelessness in Maryland and Delaware.

Meeting Ground is a small organization that has a lot to offer. There was an abundance of content that needed to be reorganized to effectively communicate Meeting Ground's message and encourage user participation.

Effective design and information architecture were essential in creating a persuasive call-to-action for Meeting Ground. We constructed a ten page site and chunkified the content so that it was well organized and logical. Headlines, sub heads and color scheme create hierarchy and separation on every page so Meeting Ground's message is clearly communicated. "The Ways to Give" and "Volunteer" pages both make it easy for users to get involved.

The Donate Now feature is one of the most important parts of the site. Clearly displayed in the primary navigation, the bold orange button links to a form where users can make a donation with secure credit card processing.

Meeting Ground's redesign demonstrates that a clearly defined information architecture and a well-organized navigation can transform a cluttered site into something informative and usable.
