Site Launch: PA Pipeline

Design reinforces partnership in two organizations

Take a look at what we did to give S.A.V.E.'s partner organization a great new design.

Founded and supported by S.A.V.E., Pennsylvania Pipeline Safety & Environmental Protection is a coalition dedicated to informing citizens, agencies on pipeline safety and environmental protection. Similar to our goals with S.A.V.E.’s site, we wanted to create a strategically organized site with a strong call-to-action. We also wanted to make the design reflect that of the S.A.V.E. site. Chunkifying content

One of our biggest challenges was organizing the information P.A. Pipeline needed to include and optimizing the usability of this content. We first broke down the pages by topic and and corresponding sup topics. Then we designed a side-navigation to display the sub topics, making it really easy for users to navigate.

Supporting the Pipeline

The bold orange “Donate Today” button is a strong call-to-action for users. Displayed in the top navigation, it links to a form where users can make a secure donation. This essential feature will make it easy for P.A. Pipeline to gain support.

Cohesive Design

We incorporated design elements that visually link the site to its partner site to strengthen the message and brand of both organizations. Layout features like the side navigation and donate button and design elements like the background image create a subtle connection that communicates the connection.

Strategic organization and design elements transformed the PA Pipeline site into and effective tool to promote an organization and encourage community involvement
