Why Walks are so Crucial to BOT
It’s a crisp day.
The sun is barely peeking through the trees, and I’m out on one of my daily walks—earbuds in, podcast playing.
I’m not thinking about work...not yet.
I’m lost in a conversation about soccer strategies or the psychology of decision-making.
But as I walk, something happens.
The pace of the walk, the rhythm of my steps, starts to clear my mind.
Before I know it, ideas start flowing—ideas for the business, for marketing, for leadership—ideas that I would never have thought of if I’d stayed sitting behind my desk.
It’s uncanny how often a simple walk becomes the birthplace of solutions and strategies that move our business forward.
When this kind of inspiration strikes, I pull out my phone’s voice memo to capture the ideas.
Some of the ideas turn into actionable changes in our process.
Some will end up as blog posts, feeding our ever-growing list of content topics.
Other ideas will go on to shape the very foundation of our marketing frameworks.
So, if you’re not already getting out there and putting one foot in front of the other, you might want to consider it.
